Do You Only Shoot in Bonita Springs? . . .
While I am a local in Bonita Springs, for the past 10 years I have been serving the entire SWFL area from Captiva Island to Marco Island with photographic services. Bonita is my home base and I love this little town like no other. We boast access to some of the nation's most beautiful beaches and some pretty great secret nooks if sand isn't truly your thing.
When Will I View My Images? . . .
Your Premiere takes place 1-2 days following your session, either in our home viewing or at your home or hotel. Most of our clients are visiting our gorgeous area on vacation so we make sure to keep your premiere as convenient as possible for you. There's nothing worse than spending hours and hours revieweing an online gallery and all of the confusion that comes along with it.
We want you to go home with great memories of your vacation, not another project to complete.
You'll review and order your photos in about an hour. Hassle-free. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions, let us help you choose the best images and best ways to display them. You will also get to touch and feel what you're ordering so there's no guessing.
How Should We Prepare For Our Premiere? . . .
Once you've booked, we will provide details on how to make your premiere quick and easy. This may involve photographing the walls of your home and emailing them in advance. You will be amazed at what we can do with this! Please be prepared, with an idea of where you would like to display your photos, prior to your premiere. All ordering decisions will be made at this time.
How Much Does It Cost? . . .
We are a full-service studio, focused on delivering family heirloom style products. We do offer digital files as an additional option, but our goal is for you to wander past a portrait of your family - on the wall in your home - for many, many, years to come. Beach portraits during peak season (May-September) are in very high demand as there's a limited number of sunsets! Portrait session fees vary. Most families invest $1500-$3000 on a variety of printed products. Please contact us for a consultation.
Where Do You Shoot Beach Portraits? . . .
We're fortunate to have many gorgeous locations here. My first choice is always to choose somewhere convenient to the clients. With so many different rental properties and resorts around, we can usually find a gorgeous location just steps from where you are staying. Barefoot Beach State Park is one of my favorite local to the Bonita Springs, Fl area locations. As well as Lover's Key State Park (it's technically located in the Fort Myers, FL area, but only a 10 minute drive from Barefoot, so to me, it counts!) Bonita Springs, Fl is centrally located to access to both Lee County Florida and Collier County Florida areas. For this reason, we travel often to capture moments for our clients. Our service area includes as far north as Captiva Island, FL and as far south as Marco Island, FL. If you have any questions, please be sure to ask! We're always happy to help you select a gorgeous place for your portraits.
What Time Will The Session Take Place? . . .
This depends on the location. For beach sessions, we typically consult our studio calendar for the sunset time and work from there. Occassionally, in the event of weather canceling our shoot, sunrise may be an option as well.
How Far In Advance Should I Book? . . .
Never hesitate to contact me at the last minute; however, for peak season, especially near the holiday season, I recommend planning two to three months in advance.
What Should We Wear? . . .
Always keep things interesting! Don't be afraid to go outside of the box. Remember that pattern and texture are great ways to jazz things up. For non-beach shoots, please pay careful attention to your shoes, they can make or break an outfit. For a few ideas on family portrait outfits, you can check out my pinterest board. If you've given us an idea of where in your home you'll be displaying the images, we may be able to suggest wardrobe based on the color palette of the room.
